Welcome to the Hutt Valley GymSports Recreational Gymnastics Programmes!
Hutt Valley GymSports has developed one of the best
recreational gymnastics programmes in the Hutt Valley region.
We have classes for boys and girls of all age groups.
At the Hutt Valley GymSports we have seen significant growth in
preschool and general gymnastics classes. Parents are finding
that gymnastics develops co-ordination and motor skills, which the
child can use in any sport that they pursue in the future; but most of
all gymnastics is fun and all young people can
participate. So come on and give GymSports a try!
As part of our continued development, we have been
operating a successful badge programme for our recreational
gymnasts since 2003. There's one programme for preschoolers
and another for school aged children.
The programme is designed for skill development and progression to
skills like handstands, cartwheels and somersaults. Badges
are awarded at presentations at the end of the term.

Gym For All
These classes are for school age children and run for 50 minutes and are very popular. We teach a progressive badge programme which develops strength, flexability and co-ordination. The class is suitable for all abilities and costs $115 per term.
PlayGym
These classes are for children aged 18 months to 5 years that run for 30 or 45 minutes. We teach the children fundamental skills to build confidence and coordination and follow the GymSports New Zealand PlayGym programme. Parents are required to stay during these classes. Sport Gym/ Incentive Awards
These classes are for gymnasts who have an interest in developing their skills. The program is suitable for older children who have some experience and are keen to further develop their skills. This class concentrates on the development of skills and fitness and costs $145 per term.
Tumbling
For older gymnasts with an interest in trampoline, floor and vault. This class is designed for gymnasts who have a wide range of basic gymnastic skills, who are wanting to learn skills such as somersaults, flic flacs and handsprings. Cost $120 per term.
Casual
PlayGym classes for children aged 2.5 - 5 years who can only use the gym on a casual basis. These are parent child classes with a coach who oversees the programme. Cost $3.50 - $7.00 per session. See Fees page for more information.
Holiday Gym Camps
Gym Camps are for children 5 years and over and run during the school holidays. $27 per day ($90 for 4 days $112.50 for 5 days). Dates and times are advertised prior to the end of each term.
Birthday Parties
On Sundays we cater for birthday parties that run for 2 hours. For bookings and prices, please contact the office.
